Appendix A: Diagnostic Evidence References

INTRODUCTION

The following is a list of references used to calculate the scores of diagnostic accuracy (inter- and intrarater reliability, sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative likelihood ratios). We calculated the confidence interval for those procedures having 12 or more data points to yield the mean, low- and high values. For those procedures having 5 to 11 data points we calculated the interquartile range. For those tests having two to four data points, the low value, high value, and median value were reported.
